Lots of other slingshots included the purple in 2006,
when he became La Liga’s top scorer and won the Man of the Match award in the Champions League final. Eto’o last scored in the FIFA Club World Cup final, while Inter was crowned the best team on the planet and his Cameroonian ace received the Golden Ball. Eto’o, a strong runner endowed with a heeled finance.blog turbocharger, a fast-thinking football brain and a deadly bullet, also has a decent share of beats, from coaches, players and journalists who doubt his character and priorities, to fans. . he shouted racist insults at him in Spain and Italy.
Yet, like all great players, he responded to his criticism on the field, making it the perfect field for this unstoppable African lion.
Shakhtar of Shakhtar
Why are Russian and Ukrainian sounds / h / (like Hull or Harvard) (mis) represented in English by the letters “kh”?
It bothered me a little.
Therefore it must be the Shahtar, not the Shakhtar; also, Kharkov, not Kharkov (or Kharkiv, as the Ukrainian name). Even more funny is that some geniuses have suggested that the Ukrainian sound / g / (almost like Galloway or Glasgow, just a little slower) should be translated into English by the letter “h”!
English therefore rewrites the Ukrainian word Liga (Liga) as
Liha (!), Mar Shahtar as Shakhtar. And of course 99.9% in English
speakers pronounce two words wrong … Very strange.

The show is believed to sport some scantily clad Iraq women, which has caused some furore from womens-libbers.

The ‘Bush Jnr Boys’, as the 69th Battalion are affectionately known, are protesting the use ‘these multeye .. mutleye cyl-abull …. words being used by them there new fangled dancing lot’. Tension is said to be growing between the two groups.
However, most of the Iraqi men we’ve interviewed dismiss the opposition forces. One Iraqi man told us, “I am thinking that this will be even better than American Bandstand or Saturday Night Fever. We are hoping to be able to win a dance with a beautiful bikini baby or maybe some farmer’s daughter. YEEHAWWWWW!”
The (mis)information minister and host ‘Comical Ali’ assures the Iraqi people that, “regardless of the cultural conflict the new play bazaar Lottery Hoedown has brought to the war torn nation, the Iraqi people will find the Hoedown a great spectacle and a wonderful diversion from the daily nothingness that most Iraqi’s experience.”
Country-wide celebrations are expected to ensue with street parties, rifle shooting and firework displays. UN weapons inspectors expect the Iraqis will detonate all their hidden WMD in the celebrating, which should prove once and for all that the weapons were there
The lottery Ingatbola88 jackpot is said to be an estimated $25,000 which isn’t spectacular but in Iraq it will buy you enough munitions to kill half the population of a big city. Or enough donkeys to start a lucrative farming business. Or enough girls to start a… Well, the winner can spend it on whatever they want.
BINGO TERMS. CASINO BINGO

Busy Korean Summer Ahead For Qq PokerSome
With the temperatures and humidity levels rising all over the Korean peninsula, the nation’s players will be happy that the K-league is taking a five-week break. Recent games have seen most of the 22 on the pitch collapse on the turf in exhaustion as the referee blows his whistle to signal the end.
Not all players will be resting, 18 of them will be Satta Matka to China to play in the Beijing Olympics- more about that next week. For those left behind, and especially the coaches, there will be a lot of thinking going on over the next month. Suwon, Seongnam and Seoul may be lording it at the top of the pile but there are plenty of others not so well off.
The one with the most to consider is Hwang Sun-hong. The hero of the 2002 World Cup is one of South Korea’s best ever strikers but his first coaching job is not going so well. Busan I’Park started the season with a win on the opening day against Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors. 14 games later and Hwang is still looking for victory number two following four ties and ten defeats.
Busan has been unlucky at times; playing well against some of the big boys and losing to last-minute strikes. The south coast team, which contains Ahn Jung-hwan, had never been handed a heavy defeat – until last Saturday that is. That was when free-scoring Daegu FC won 4-0 at Busan’s World Cup Stadium. Three of the goals came in the final minutes as Busan desperately tried to get something out of the game. Still, it was a sobering result and the defending was enough to drive long-suffering Busan fans, and perhaps coach Hwang, to drink.
Ahead of Busan in the standings, but only just, are the three Jeolla clubs. Gwangju Sangmu is a perennial struggler and it is no surprise to see the military-run team, reliant on conscripts to the army and unable to sign players, struggle in the nether regions but more was expected of Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors. The Jeonju team is improving slightly but has won just four games in a season when the 2006 Asian champions was at least expected to finish in the top six with such players as Kim Hyeung-bom, Chung Kyung-ho and Cho Jae-jin on its books. Further south, Chunnam Dragons are also struggling. The Gwangyang club has never been one of the league’s big boys but three wins all season is a poor return.
Jeju United spent much of this season languishing near the bottom. Four straight wins in June and July changed all that as Brazilian boss Arthur Bernardes has the team playing some good football and the islanders are outside bets for a top six finish and a place in the play-offs. Incheon United is in the opposite situation. The west coast port city started the season on fire and won its opening three games. Only two more have followed and some of the football on display at the Munhak Stadium has not been especially exciting with an over-reliance on big Serbian striker Dzenan Radonic partly at fault.
Daejeon Citizen is a team usually tough to defeat. The Purple boys squeezed into the play-offs last season but have yet to find the same sort of form this time round. Goals are very hard to come by for Kim Ho’s team with a measly 11 netted in 15 games. A 1-0 win over Suwon the round before last was well-received but the veteran silver-haired Kim has to find some magic from somewhere over the next few weeks.
Gyeongnam FC has been in reasonable form and currently lies in sixth –the last play-off spot. The Changwon-based club has coped well after the coach and its two best players left at the end of last season and new Brazilian signing Indio is starting to impress along with young midfielder Seo Sang-min.
Up the road, Daegu is having a real roller-coaster of a season. The team has scored 31 goals, one more than leaders Suwon but the problem is the fact it has conceded 37.Games involving Daegu are usually high scoring with the Korean duo of Lee Keun-ho and Jang Nam-seok doing the damage only to look on in dismay as the defense is breached once again. If Daegu can tighten that backline without sacrificing its potency in attack, a place in the play-offs awaits.
The two South-eastern coastal cities Pohang Steelers and Ulsan Hyundai are in their usual positions of fourth and fifth. Neither team has impressed on a consistent basis but have enough good players to get the results that will put them in the play-offs. Once you book that ticket, as Pohang knows only two well, anything can happen.

Colin Togel OnlineMoynihan – Bet Player
Colin Moynihan, Margaret Thatcher’s loyal elf who shrilly yet unsuccessfully hawked her ill-conceived plan for I.D. cards for football fans around an unwilling nation 22 years ago, has returned to put his foot in it with soccer again.
Moynihan, UK Minister for Sport between 1987 and 1990, has waded into the debate over the 2012 Great Britain Olympic team, in his role as chairman of the British Olympic Association.
Despite categorical opposition from the Northern Irish, Scottish and Welsh football associations, Moynihan has insisted the Olympic team must reflect the UK as a whole, and allow the likes of Gareth Bale, this season’s outstanding performer in the UEFA Champions League, to play for Britain.
The diminutive Tory points to the BOA’s Constitutional requirement that all British sportsmen must be considered for selection and warned that an satta king English-only team could trigger a flood of legal challenges from excluded Celts.
FIFA President Sepp Blatter has assured the four associations in writing that a truly British Olympic team will not change anything regarding their status, but he alone cannot out-vote any motion to that effect supported by a majority of his organisation’s delegates.
The infamous ID-card plan which Moynihan trumpeted was a desperate response to 1985’s Heysel tragedy and a never-ending saga of domestic skirmishes involving English football fans.
It had first been mooted in Judge Popplewell’s verdict on 1985’s Bradford fire, but the driving force behind it was the late and unlamented MP David Evans, a former chairman of Luton Town. Evans, who belonged to what was colloquially known as ‘The Broadmoor Wing’ of the Conservative Party, took the unprecedented decision in 1985 to ban all away fans from Luton’s Kenilworth Road ground following a famous riot by Millwall supporters. Meanwhile, Luton’s own supporters had to register and gain an identity card which was swiped at the turnstiles.
Moynihan, crassly, sported a Charlton Athletic tie for his TV appearances – he was MP for nearby Lewisham East at the time, but wore his soccer knowledge lightly as he told us again and again the only way to stop hooliganism was for all fans to carry cards. The then government was football-unfriendly, with the exception of Nottingham Forest-supporting Ken Clarke, and made no effort to tap into the sport’s popularity like every subsequent government has.
Thatcher’s provincial market town upbringing and education at Oxford had kept her far from professional football and the industrial regions it sprang from. Her reign coincided with the darkest years of English hooliganism but she adamantly refused to accept that it was social, rather than footballing problems, that she was dealing with.
The opposition to ID cards was near-universal amongst football folk and the whole sorry episode was instrumental in giving birth to a national supporters’ association in response to a suddenly politicised environment.
It was the Hillsborough Disaster of 1989 and the subsequent Taylor Report which delivered the coup de grace to Thatcher’s foray into football. The axing of a dud idea was welcome, but it should not have taken 96 deaths for it to have happened. CCTV had already turned the tide against stadium violence, and by the early 1990s, football fighting was just no longer a cool thing to do. Cards would have made no difference.
The Iron Lady resigned in 1990 and Moynihan scuttled away into the shadows after losing his seat at the 1992 General Election, only briefly reappearing in court in 1996 to claim the title ‘Baron Moynihan’ after the death of his brothel-keeping half-brother. Football fans were glad to see the back of him.
Perhaps the Celtic associations do have nothing to fear from the passing novelty of a UK team, but being clearly petrified of the unthinkable, they have every right to refuse to participate.
What Moynihan the BOA man fails to understand is that Olympic football has so little prestige compared to the real prizes in the game that the three smaller British associations cannot allow a minor competition they never enter anyway to risk ending their existences.
Against this background, a man with apparently no knowledge of the sport really should back off. Football decisions should be down to football people, and Moynihan is not one of us. If no association apart from the FA wishes to participate in the UK eleven then we can all live with that.
One man who knew how to deal with Moynihan was Brian Clough. Cloughie referred to him as ‘The Miniature for Sport’ and brought a puppet of him onto television to ridicule. When Moynihan charged onto the field to congratulate Britain’s gold medal-winning hockey team at the 1988 Olympics, Clough judiciously pointed out how Moynihan could never again lecture football fans about pitch invasions.
When Lord Justice Taylor killed the ID cards off once and for all, Cloughie concluded,
“I would like to thank Mr Moynihan, and anyone who is above him…which is most of us.”

A “Joke” Puts Police On Madhur matka
VIDUKA’S CROATIAN HOUSE UNDER SURVEILLANCE?
Japan … dead, but not buried yet
Tonight Japan play Brazil in what will surely be their final game in Germany for a while. There are still a whole host of optimistic (-ally insane??) people in Japan saying that Brazil can be beaten by more than two goals. I met half a dozen who told me so this morning. But the altogether sane (and frankly rather frightening) bloke next door doesn’t think Japan have a hope in hell. Looked at me as if I were mad when I asked him if Japan could do it. Having said that, the TV hosts are hyping Japan’s chances, although you can see in their eyes that they don’t really believe it.
It all went wrong for Japan with one moment of madness from Kawaguchi, the goalkeeper, against Australia. Then the confidence, brittle at the best of times, disappeared at haste down the plughole. Sattamatka Tough to blame Kawaguchi really, as he has made some excellent saves, including a great penalty stop against Croatia. He always has made excellent saves, but unfortunately he has always been awful with crosses and prone to horrendous blunders, too.
It has been a typical Japan performance so far. Not quite good enough. We all knew the attack was impotent before the competition. We all knew Miyamoto was nowhere near good enough to be the lynchpin of a defence that would face serious pressure. And surely everyone has seen Kawaguchi do his sublime-to-ridiculous thing more times than they remember.
So tonight. A last hurrah? A glorious defeat? A famous victory? Whichever it is, it is unlikely Japan will be in the last 16 come tomorrow morning.
